"TOOT" yourself, buddy!

I've said it before, but it bears repeating now: I hate impatient people.

I went to the Burger King drive-thru for lunch and at the pay window, I handed the clerk my card and waited as she walked to another terminal to swipe it. The idjut behind me must not understand that merchants accept plastic now and tooted his horn as if to remind me that I should drive up to the next window to get my food.

I didn't even acknowledge him. I waited another minute and then the clerk returned with my card.

In hindsight, I should have tooted back at him as if to say "Hi! What's up?"

I love your blog, it's a daily read for me and a daily giggle. Thank you for that. Anyway I agree with you on the rudeness of people, but I don't think I would have been as kind as you were to the idiot behind you.

I've got a few times I've been tooted at, but I'll tell you the shortest one.... I was in the right lane intending to go straight at the light, and some moron behind me who wanted to do a right on red honked and honked and HONKED at me. So I did what any good woman would... I dumped the clutch when the light changed and sat through another light cycle to get the car started again.
Thought the guy was going to bust a blood vessel. :)

While sitting at a traffic light in Denver one afternoon, the guy next to me honked at the red light. Maybe he was drunk or something.

Ooh, LeeAnn, you are evil.

I wish I hadn't gotten in the habit of using my debit card at McDonald's. Used to be my barrier to going there too often was the amount of cash in my pocket (or lack thereof).
