A Pledge

I will no longer speak of the idiocy that is my work life on this blog. As much as the idea of being dooced has a special martyr-y appeal about it, if I get fired I want it to be because I went postal on somebody.

At which point I'll blog about it...I'll try to take a few pictures if it's convenient, too.

You know you talk about work too much on your blog when you have nightmares that your clients know about your site and start telling your coworkers about it. It's true. I have blogmares.

I'll be gradually phasing out anything that wouldn't look so hot on my behalf in a court of law. So. There.

The way I deal with such worries is such: I figure that realistically if someone from work wanted to find my blog, they could. I haven't really covered my tracks very well. On the other hand, I completely lie... er, disguise the facts... about where I work, what kind of work I actually do, etc. Again, if one wanted to get super-nosy, the truth might out.
But I'm just now in the position of not giving a flying fig if my job disappears. If I ever get a job I really want to keep, it's likely I'd never speak a word of it.
Sad, the way the world is these days, huh?

Tiffany - girl, you're gonna need a mighty big shovel to bury all this incriminating evidence :-)

But... but... your co-workers are such good blogging fodder.
