We'll get a photo with flash as soon as she gets over her scaredy-cattiness.
Posted by Tiffany at April 11, 2005 09:38 PMAww. You already look more calm. Is she black or gray? And what made you choose the name Bodie? I like it. It's cute. Congratulations!
Posted by: Momotrips at April 11, 2005 10:37 PMGlad you got your kitty. She's gorgeous!
Posted by: Michelle at April 12, 2005 01:42 AMIs she gray? Or black? She looks like my one roommate's cat who is a total bastard (the cat, not my roommate). I'm sure your cat is much nicer.
Posted by: Erica at April 12, 2005 01:42 AMKitty! how pretty! let the Cat Blogging begin!
Posted by: Diana at April 12, 2005 07:15 AM"Bodie,"...well, "Boddie," actually, is a certain branch of my family tree. We're all "Work smart, not hard, then take a day off."
She's gray, which still scares me a little bit. I fear that she's going to creep up on me in the dark and scare the bejesus out of me.
Posted by: Tiffany at April 12, 2005 07:38 AM Wow! Beautiful cat. Do you know the breed? It looks like an english blue short-hair. I have one myself (20 pound chunk named after a greek philosopher whos name I couldn't post). He was very skittish when I brough him home too, but he turned into a lover-boy in no time.
Congratulations!
Awww! You rescued a grown kitty! I thought she was a little kitten. She looks like the Russian Blue I had when I was little. I can't believe she's already settled.
Posted by: Nanc' at April 12, 2005 09:20 AMDon't worry about getting snuck up on or the occassional stepping on of cat toes. Tex looks like a walking oil spill and I can still see him in the dark. Bodie should be easy to find.
Posted by: Diana at April 12, 2005 09:23 AMThe shelter folks say that she's just a regular domestic short hair...short hair that is covering all of my clothing.
