Balls against the wall.

And so it begins. I correctly predicted that when Bossman returned from his corporate training event, he would issue an edict that we should hre more staff.

My estimation of how many people we need to hire was embarrassingly low. I figured we would bring on one new person and perhaps on more three months later after the first person got settled in. WRONG.

He wants to hire two new account executives immediately and I also forgot to take into consideration that both of our office assistant, one project coordinatior, and possibly the second project coordinator are going back to school this fall and we'll lose all three.

The problem with them leaving all at once is that there will be a aching hole with noone doing their duties. If I want to save myself the stress two months from now, we need to get some folks in NOW so that they'll be trained up and effective by the time the boys leave.

So. I need to find four or five new employees. That's half the fucking staff - we have to do something about this turnover problem.

bhizzle.jpgBoy, this is frustrating. Oh, speaking of work-related issues...any [single] ladies out there in the Triangle area looking for a nice beau to settle down with? That there on the left is one of my coworkers (taken at Thursday's Durham Bulls game). He's 27ish. He wants an outdoorsy chick that isn't afraid of shaving her legs. Don't be shy. He's drug free and clear of infection.

I'm not joking. Email me if you know someone. They can "do lunch" and I'll chaperone.
