Sleepless

3:15 am and the most brutal part of the storm is on top of us and keeping me awake. Tried to get out yesterday but the ferries weren't running. Tired. Upset.

You are an idiot for not leaving a barrier island during a hurricane. They had evacuations all along the coast. If you don't evacuate when they ask you to (and can), then you shouldn't complain.

Sue's a little harsh, no? However, I hope you're okay, but girl, you shoulda gotten the hell outta there! I'm sorry that your vacation was "dampened" by the storm - I know you were really looking forward to it. If you get phone service or power, let us all know how you are.
