My home office comes to fruition.

I'm at home today.

I was up late last night cleaning up packaging from the furniture we ordered. When I got home yesterday, six 50 pound boxes were out on my front stoop. The UPS guy had delivered almost all of our Pottery Barn order. We ordered three filing cabinets, a computer cabinet, a long desk top, a corner desktop, and a rolling chair. Everything with the exception of the corner desktop arrived, and that should be here today.

Everything was double and triple-wrapped in plastic wrap and cardboard, so in addition to being heavy they were a bitch to extricate from their boxes.

I was up late getting all the garbage into sorted piles of varying recyclability.

I slept right through my alarm clock this morning, so I just called out of work.

The piles of cardboard our outside now. I suppose I should get some work-related things done while I'm sitting here with no television (*adds television for living room to wishlist*).
