"Yeah, I'll catch up with you."

Because this has been a pretty good sales month for the office, my boss wants to take everyone out to play miniature golf during lunch. They're all leaving right now.

This would normally be a fun little diversion, however because I don't like a good 36% of my coworkers and the chance of not being put on a randomly-selected team with someone I dislike is rather slim. Hormonal woman + putt-putt club = recipe for bruisin'.

Fortunately, I have a tester in the office that came in at 10:30 and hasn't finished her test yet. For once, my boss's desire to have a tightly packed testing schedule has worked to my advantage.

I am rather pissed, however, that I'm hungry and he's buying food.

Oh, tell me he at least brought you something back.

Nope. Those savages didn't even bring down to a ketchup packet back. I ended up leaving at 3:15 and finally had a hot dog in Target.

Didn't resort to using the office petty cash fund? Or better yet, you should have taken an extended lunch (while everyone was still away-no one the wiser) AND left early.
