On the average I've felt a (Oh, Happy Easter to those who celebrate) helluva lot better over the course of the past week than I had in weeks before. The headaches that kept my eyes tightly shut with my head under a comforter are either gone or controllable by a Tylenol.
I didn't have a terrible amount of nausea in weeks past. When I went to the OB last Monday, my NP told me that in general the queasies start to go away at around 10 weeks. That's next Sunday. Because I had only thrown up a couple of times by the point of my OB visit, I turned down the prescription I was offered (it would have made me tired).
Of course, since then my nausea has increased by (completely arbitrary number) 75%. Not enough to tip off my coworkers, but enough to plot out discrete bushes to throw up behind at the office.
To start off a completely fabulous Sunday, I woke up, fed the cats, and as I was preparing my instant strawberry-flavored oatmeal, I dropped the whole damned bowl on the kitchen floor. Fortunately, the cats will lick up any sticky spots.
In better news, I qualifed for a UNC study where I can get three free ultrasounds. It's a pregnancy study concerning women with fibroids, which I don't have, so my participation will probably be limited. All the same, I get to go in on Wednesday and maybe see a heartbeat. Yay!

Posted by: tv at April 17, 2006 01:05 AMWhat's that comment in reference to? If it's referring back to a statement I made waaaaay back in the day about my t.v. in the bedroom, why would I hook a VCR up to a 15-inch screen barely viewable from 10 feet away? The issue here is that I DON'T want to buy equipment to hook up to it or replace it. It's a 20-year-old machine for Christsakes.
Oh wait? Are you a troll? I walked right into that one.
Trollie troll troll.
