Wake me up after this commercial.

One of the things about this pregnancy so far is that I've been incredibly pooped. I get up at around six, go to work, and am ready for a nap by 11:45. When I get home in the afternoon, as much as I try to avoid it, I sometimes take a two hour nap between five and seven. Then I get up, eat something, and am asleep by nine.

I don't cook anymore. The husband can vouch for this. If it can't be prepared in 20 minutes, I tend to forget what I'm doing midway. Often that means that meats don't get seasoned.

Dinner tonight? Fruity Pebbles. With milk this time.

On a semi-related note, I let my would-be replacement at work in on the fact that I'm pregnant. Her response: "I thought I smelled pregnant in the office. I thought it was *certain coworker*."

You got to be reeeeeeeeeeeal country to "smell" a pregnant woman.

I called my midwife to get a prescription for the nausea that's been ruining my mornings. My hopes are that I won't need it much longer and within a week or so the first trimester symptoms will be gone...since I am in the second trimester and all. Anyway, I'm reading the warning stickers on the prescription bottle: "May cause drowsiness."

I did some net research and saw that some people prescribe this medication to HELP PEOPLE SLEEP! I don't really need that...I just want to not barf in the sink at work.
