Her name is my name, too.

The marathon of interviews at the office has begun. On Saturday I put up the ever-running recruiter advertisement as well as an office assistant advertisement for myself.

Because I have to administer tests to everyone, if people are scheduled to see my Boss and others are scheduled to see me, I have to pull double-duty. I was interviewing an office assistant today and was pulled out halfway through to print off a profile that had came into my inbox. This wouldn't have been an issue if the person interviewing with my boss had showed up on time but annnnnnnyway.

The person I interviewed today was the first of five or six. I'll be interviewing the rest tomorrow. The girl set a pretty high bar. She asked for the job, and had the sort of spunky "not gonna let these knuckleheads walk all over me" attitude that I find very amusing. The rest who come in will have to outshine her by leaps and bounds and bring me snacks or else come 5 pm tomorrow she has the job.

One problem that might present when I'm selling this girl to my boss is that her personality profile is almost identical to mine. True, I git 'r done, but personality-wise I score as the most dominant in the office. The young'un I interviewed is a few ticks below me. My boss would break out in a cold sweat if he had two of me - someone has to be submissive enough to do all the crappy data entry, after all.
