Okay, so here's the deal with the "Chopped Steak" query. We went to O'Charley's on Sunday for dinner, and that's what I ordered thinking it would be tender steak steak cut into strips and served over taters.
It was hamburger. I was pissed. Not only was it hamburger, but it was underseasoned hamburger.
Needless to say we didn't pay for it.

They serve it in cafeterias and places where older folks frequent. It's a misleading name, but that's always what it is. It's sometimes quite good, with brown gravy and onions - my dad used to make it all the time when I was growing up. In future, order beef tips - that's beef cut into little bites in gravy. Now you know...
