I call first dibs.

Lemme ask you a question. If a coworker kindly brings in a bag of breakfast sandwiches from McDonald's for the consumption of the office, would it piss you off to see some particuarly sickly person opening wrappers, looking/breathing at the sandwich, just to close them back up and put them back in the bag because it lacks cheese?

Let me first go back and express my annoyance at the fact that whenever there's a free scrap of food available in the office, the people here jump on it as if they were college students without a meal plan. I keep my butt firmly planted in my chair, because by the time I get to it, God knows what kind have germs have been dispersed. Hepatitus. Influenza. Who knows. It's not like they wash their hands after they piss (anyone who uses the bathroom and exits it while the toilet is still running has in no way washed or wiped ANYTHING).

So this dude, who has been hacking violent coughs for the past week or so, is investigating beneath the sandwich wrappers. I wanted to get up and knock the hat off his head. I hope that when his kids are constantly sick in elementary school because they have poor hygeine habits he'll get the point. Of course he won't. He'll be too busy licking the water fountain handles at the parent/teacher conference.

If you want the free food make like that meal plan-less college student and jump on it. Most germs don't last long outside their hosts anyway. Hep does, but if someone in your office has hep? you're all ready in trouble.
